Meet Our Family
My love of animals began at an early age, growing up on a horse ranch in the mountains of Colorado. I graduated from Bel-Rae Veterinarian Technology in 1993 and worked as a Vet Technician before moving to PA in 2012 with my husband (a Union Carpenter) and two children. Over the years I have also ran a Wolf/Wolf Hybrid Santuary, Fostered, Volunteered and Partnered with numerous rescues. Our home in Butler is also home to numerous Foster Failures as well as ducks, geese and chickens.
My husband Jason is our appointed handyman and can be found many days behind the scenes.
I was fortunate to manage, run and later own, BaMar Farm Kennel in Zelienople over the past 12 years. I'm looking forward to offering the same quality care and services that BaMar did, as well as continuing the care that Jim did when operating Poplar Forest.
